Apprenticeship combines on-the-job and classroom training, preparing the apprentice for a career as a skilled craftsman. Apprentices work during the day at training assignments with contractors (employers), who pay the apprentice directly for time worked.

The Quad City Electrical Training Center programs are approved for V.A. benefits, and with military background you can automatically by-pass some of our entrance requirements. Even without related training, you are still an ideal candidate for an apprenticeship. Students with military experience have the drive, commitment and work ethic to excel in our programs, so you are encouraged to apply regardless of your military background.
The pay you receive from an employer can be supplemented by education benefits under the G.I. Bill, adding hundreds more dollars each month to your take home pay.
